Md. Abdur Rouf (Ex, Executive Engineer, and BPDB) has 40 years of
experience in Electrical engineering career in Bangladesh. He did his bachelor degree (Electrical Engineering) from Rajshahi Engineering College (Now RUET) in 1979 and started his career as Assistant Engineer at Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB). He handled different responsibilities including the operation and Maintenance of Sub-Stations (6.6kV, 33kV, 132kV, and 230kV), Power Transformer, Generator, Electrical Motors, Different Control Circuit, Protection of Generator, Transformer and Sub-Stations equipment.
He received the deferent Training in on Operation & Maintenance of 2 x 125 MW Coal Fired Steam Power Plant” in Shanghai, China. (6 month). Simulation training course on 135 MW Power Plant Operation under East China Electric Power Training Centre, Shanghai, China. (2weeks). Repair of Generator and Transformer at Ghorashal Power Station Training Centre, Bangladesh under Russian Experts. (6 Months). Inspection and Troubleshooting of Rotating Machines at BCIC Training Institute, Ghorashal, Bangladesh. (2 Months). Mr. Md. Abdur Rouf visited including Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), China, Malaysia and India.
