Ms. Shahida Parvin is a senior development professional and Gender & Youth Inclusion Specialist with over 20 years of experience in program management, monitoring and evaluation, safeguarding, gender equality, youth empowerment, and humanitarian response in Bangladesh.

She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Conflict Transformation Studies from Pannasastra University of Cambodia and a Master’s degree in Geography from National University.

Throughout her career, she has worked with leading national and international organizations, including Jagorani Chakra Foundation, Bangladesh Nari Progati Sangha, Bangladesh National Women Lawyers’ Association, Phulki, and Save the Children Australia.

She has extensive experience in designing and implementing gender-responsive and inclusive development programs, particularly in the areas of gender-based violence (GBV), safeguarding, women’s leadership, youth development, conflict transformation, and humanitarian assistance. She has successfully led large-scale monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) systems, coordinated multi-stakeholder partnerships, and delivered capacity-building programs for staff, volunteers, and community groups.

Her professional contributions include managing projects in Cox’s Bazar refugee camps and host communities, supporting over 6,800 learners across 205 learning facilities, conducting safeguarding investigations, and facilitating training for more than 250 staff and volunteers on protection and prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA).

Ms. Parvin has also represented her organizations in national and international forums on gender equality, women’s empowerment, humanitarian action, and CEDAW implementation.

Since November 2024, she has been serving as Senior Consultant at MnM Power Solutions Ltd., where she provides expert advisory support on gender and youth inclusion, stakeholder engagement, social safeguards, and inclusive field operations for infrastructure and energy sector projects.
