Engr. A.K.M Gause Mohiuddin Ahmed, has obtained Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET). After completion of his graduation degree, he started professional career in Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) in 1988 and worked in gas turbine & thermal power plants and substation design of transmission projects, holding different position.

After unbundling of National Grid from BPDB in July 1997, Mr. Ahmed, joined Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Ltd (PGCB) as Deputy Manager in March 1998 and elevated up to the position of Managing Director. During tenure of his service, he was responsible in the Design of Transmission Line and Substation Project Director & Project Coordinator of various Transmission Line Projects up to the Volage level of 400kV.

As a Managing Director, Mr. Ahmed’s responsibility was to provide strategic leadership and oversight of company operations and administration; promoting organizational efficiency and sustainable growth by facilitating nationwide access to electricity through dependable transmission infrastructure.

 After retirement from PGCB in October 2024, he join MnM Power Solution in 2025 as Adviser.

Mr. Ahmed has obtained various training in abroad and local institutions. He has also visited several manufacturers’ premises abroad.

In his career at PCGB, Asian Development Bank (ADB) had recognized and awarded him as the successful Design Team member of ADB’s  9^th and 10^th Power Transmission Project of Power Grid Company of Bangladesh.
